Heavenly Guardian is a spiritual sequel to the Pocky & Rocky games.

An unused sound test option can be accessed with the use of codes. Apply the code below for the US version of the game, then enter the Boss Attack mode from the main menu.

Replace Boss Attack with BGM Test

Once in this mode, press the following buttons to change settings:

  • D-Pad Left to enable BGM mode.
  • D-Pad Right to enable SFX mode.
  • D-Pad Up to decrease value.
  • D-Pad Down to increase value.
  • Circle to play BGM/SFX.

The values you select in this mode are invisible. Some SFX slots are blank and will play nothing when selected.

Unused Maps

A couple of unused areas can be accessed with codes. Apply the code below and enter 1PLAYER mode. The two levels will be added. The first is a map called Monster Town and the later is unnamed. The last one can be found at the very end of the stage select screen.

The stage is very large and has a variety of enemies in it. It is unclear if it can be beaten at all. This map also has no music associated with it.
