Konami forced Goemon to take a break from his platforming adventures, having him instead appear in a crappy Pokémon clone.
Debug Menu
Using the GameShark code 010218C2 or 010602C1, then pressing Start at the title screen should take you to a Debug Menu of sorts. It includes viewers for Demos, Battle Animations and enemies. A non-functional sound test is also present, among other things.
