Hidden Graphic

A semi-circle similar to the ones the game uses to show the fighters' shadow on the floor is hidden behind the background layers of every stage in the game for no apparent reason.

In the international versions, Mai's thong was made bigger and her breasts don't bounce in her "Nippon Ichi!" victory pose.

Laurence Blood

Most likely due to Nintendo of America's censorship policies at the time, Laurence Blood's last name is shortened to just "B." in the international versions. His "Bloody Spin" voice clip is also removed as well in those versions.
