See, this is why server preservation is important.
This game's online features are no longer supported.
While this game's online features were once accessible, they are (as of March 1, 2023) no longer officially supported and online-exclusive features may be documented as now-unseen content.

FUSER is Harmonix's successor to DropMix. Let the meme mashups ensue.

This game got delisted off of online store platforms on December 20th, 2022 (15:41:57 UTC according to SteamDB) for unknown reasons (some say it was music licensing, but according to NCSoft it was Harmonix's doing), while the online services became unavailable for PC on January 17, 2023 (16:14:32 UTC according to SteamDB) due to a server version mismatch, while the servers were still online for the console platforms. Then the servers became offline on March 1, 2023.

On December 9th, 2023, a handful of assets from this game got ported to Fortnite Festival: Jam Stage (which is co-developed by Harmonix).

Hmmm...
To do:
  • "Changes from DropMix" probably needs a better icon.
  • Check if there's any unused audio.
  • Check for any unused strings in the patch folders. (There may be unused cosmetics or events)
  • Find out how the game sorts songs in Artist view (It has a weird way of sorting songs from the same artist, even with customs included).
  • Unused cosmetics
  • Version differences (Make sure to include the "Holding Out for a Hero" & "Numb" updates).

Unreleased DLC Songs

During when the game was still online, when you opened up the in-game Downloadable Content store, the game downloads all of the metadata for the dlc, and inside /Game/DLC/Songs, there are there four song folders that don't have any audio or texture files: cherrycordial, gravityassist, mainmistar & youdidntbut. As of January 17th, 2023 these files don't download into the cache anymore, even with previous updates.
Based on the metadata, these are In-House songs made by the people at Harmonix that were previously DropMix songs, that would have been re-released as free DLC for this game.
These never came out before the game (and it's DLC) got delisted on December 20th, 2022, and none of these songs appear in the /Game/EventRewards/Songs folder (which is where the Diamond Store songs' data would be).

Song Metadata

Note: The BPM is not in the song's data internally. (BPM Data listed below is sourced from the DropMix releases).

Unused Instruments

Inside the C++ headers for the game, there is a list of unused Instruments for the discs. Most of them would crash the game for unknown reasons.

# Instrument Icon Notes
0 None Cancel Technically gets used for when a song doesn't have an instrument for a loop (ex. Beast Business - Royce Please's Lead Instrument is empty).
The icon couldn't be seen since all of the "None" instruments are just left empty/not included in the metadata.

Unused Sorting Prefix Exclusion

Inside DefualtGame.ini is a sorting exclusion that goes unused since there's no Artist, Song, Instrument or Effect in the game that starts with that word.

+IgnorePrefixWhenSorting="an "

Examples of how it would've been used:

The Unicorn Princess
an Unkindness
Usher ft. Pitbull
Holding Out For A Hero
An Honest Histake
Hot In Herre

Snapshot Placeholder Title

"CultureInvariantString": "Title Text but lemme"

Unused Videos

Hmmm...
To do:
Re-document this on the Pre-release page, when it gets made. (Digital Underground - The Humpty Dance never got released)

Inside \Fuser\Fuser\Content\Movies\ShowBreaks\ there are eight tutorial videos (two of them having both 4k & 1080p renders) that go unused. These videos show an early version of the game's tutorial and they have several differences to the final version. Six out of eight videos were used in a prototype version of the game (01-06 are seen here).
