Softball Tengoku has a drawing of a softball game being played under the logo, while Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball only has a logo on a black background. The font was also changed, and the menu options were moved four lines up to fit in the lengthier copyright information.

The area beneath the sign was completely redrawn to replace the cartoon animals with humans. The sign was also made taller to fit the translated text and the background was given a yellowish tinge.

All of the selectable cartoon animals and other non-humans were replaced with human characters. The human graphics retained from Softball Tengoku were also given edits ranging from added accessories to simple palette changes. The font was recolored a darker orange, and the softballs separating the player names and character portraits were not only recolored but redrawn to be larger.
Credits

The hidden credits screen in Softball Tengoku originally credited the Japanese publisher Tonkin House, which was edited for All-Star Softball to credit the US publisher Brøderbund. It has none of the graphical glitches from All-Star Softball, which appear to result from incorrect tile mapping. That said, "Naonao" (なおなお) gains some detail in her hair in All-Star Softball compared to the Japanese version, and the captions for "Yuriyuri" (ゆりゆり) and "Sanosano" (さのさの) are shifted around to prevent possible confusion.
