Version Differences

The PC version allows you to replay missions, but it is believed that this is a debug feature left in because other versions do not have it. And as this version is published by Ubisoft, Reflections had to cut copyrighted songs from the PS2 version.

As in the Wii version of the game was also published by Ubisoft Reflections they had to cut about 12% more music from the PC version because of copyright, because of that the intro music of the game is different. But besides that, in the mission Hot Wheels you have to pick up drugs instead of pissing off the cops and the HUD is changed.

PC Development Menu

There is a way to load the leftover and non-functional development menu in the PC version by renaming Dev.MEC and Dev.TXT to Frontend.MEC and Frontend.TXT in the GUI folder. Backups must be made as this requires the main menu frontend files to be overwritten. After starting the game a very basic shell resemblance to the full development menu that is in the Review Code for the PS2 version will be loaded. Absolutely nothing is functional because the actual code is removed from the executable.

Cut Multiplayer

A beta broken multiplayer minigame which only runs on a modified PS2 european demo of the game, nothing is known about it.

The game was originally intended to include online multiplayer, but this was scrapped when it became apparent to the developers that they could not deliver a strong multiplayer mode and wanted to focus entirely on the single-player portion of the game. The following leftover strings can be found in both PS2 and Xbox versions of the game.

Apparently only 2 unfinished multiplayer gamemodes are present in the beta scripts found in the Xbox demo of the game, the Street Race multiplayer gamemode was never tested.

HUD

The HUD was pretty different from the final game's HUD, there is a scrapped leftover file containing beta textures for the HUD of the game in Overlays/overlays.gfx in the PC version, it's similar to the demo's HUD but there is only 4 textures.
