Fonts

Some early text fonts did not make it to the final.

Courier.RGB

TTOSpotify CourierFont.png

The Courier font can be found in the file, where the texture to display such font goes missing in the final. The most logical use for it would be for Cogs, as they look "typewriter-like" like their font in the final.

CourierBold.RGB

TTOSpotify CourierBoldFont.png

Same as above, except in bold. Maybe it was used as a secondary option?

Backgrounds

tto-loading

A very early loading screen, showing an unseen logo! Oddly, there's also another graphic that's separated into four files, tto_loading-lr.RGB, tto-loading-ll.RGB, tto_loading-ur.RGB, tto-loading-ul.RGB.

TTOSpotify loading.png

backdrop

A background screen that was used for Create-A-Toon according to this image, making it an old leftover. Within the texture, early buildings of Minnie's Melodyland and scrapped 3D lamp and tree objects can be seen.

Later Create-A-Toon

There are backgrounds that make up an earlier Create-A-Toon in the game's alpha stages from the main page is composed of workshop.rgb, painting-place.rgb and clothing-store.rgb. Oddly, the Workshop is the only image to have better resolution likely signifying that it was cut halfway through development for a more simplified version.

hotel-room

A leftover background from the scrapped Ritz Carltoon Hotel idea.

General HUD

Early Shticker Book Graphics

Early Shticker Book graphics that was seen in development and alpha screenshots, labelled as "sticker_closed", "sticker_open", "rollvoer_close" and "rollover_open".

Laff Meters

Hmmm...
To do:
Laff Meter "tooth" graphics with slightly different compression.

Early Laff Meter designs that could be seen in development and alpha screenshots, using a "sketched" style.

Slightly later Laff Meter designs, taking on the finalized bevel style, except squashed.

Near-final designs, except with slightly different shading.

avatar_detail_panel

An earlier, more complicated Toon Status Bar. There are ten spots for stars, likely represented via the Toon Platoon ranking but was reduced to one likely to avoid being too complex.

Other

Gags

Earliest Icon

What seems to be the earliest Gag icon of a pie, as it has a very different in style in comparison to later graphics.

TTOSpotify gagpie.png

Alpha Icons

Some early Gag graphics can be found, though not all of them are available. Many of them appear to be drawn while some of them are models, before they were all eventually redesigned. According to the 1.0 Design Document and the later Battle System Details, they were likely created around Mid-May 2000.

? Icon

Likely may be a placeholder Gag icon, or used for Gags that weren't unlocked yet.

Toon-Up/Heal

  • There is a scrapped gag called the bullhorn, likely replaced by the Megaphone, or originally intended to be a Sound Gag.
  • The Bamboo Cane icon is a less polished version of the final.
  • Quite possibly the most intriguing discovery was a scrapped baton gag, the icon being a magician's wand with some gloves. According to the Battle System sheet, it was an earlier version of the Juggling Balls.

Trap

  • The banana peel had a different shape.
  • The rake had a simpler design.

Lure

  • The Dollar Bills all share the same graphic, while the numbers were originally more noticeable.
  • The Big Magnet had a thinner design and wasn't blue.

Sound

  • The Bike Horn was originally black and gold before it was changed to magenta and platinum.
  • The bugle had a more simplified design.
  • The Aoogah icon lacks the crank on the back of the horn.
  • The Elephant Trunk gag was darker.

Throw

  • A very early design for the Cupcake Gag icon.
  • The Cream Pie Slice Gag, lacks the whipped cream on top.
  • An earlier icon of the Whole Cream Pie, showing that it went through some textural changes.
  • The Birthday Cake was originally chocolate-flavored, with some green illegible text on the sides.

Squirt

  • There is a scrapped Squirt Gag depicting a water balloon. The idea was somewhat short-lived and was replaced with a squirting flower in the final.
  • The Water Gun Gag isn't present.
  • The icon of the seltzer has a model which closely resembles the final.

Drop

  • The model in this icon matches the early anvil model.

baton

A slightly updated image of the scrapped Baton Gag called "baton.rgba", closely matching the later Gag image styles, showing that it was likely cut at the last minute, due to it being a semi-short lived idea.

Shticker Book

tab_pages1

A very early draft of the Cog Disguise page in the Shticker Book.

TTOSpotify tab pages1.png

Earlier Cog Disguise Page Tabs

Earlier "tabs" for the Cog Disguise pages can be found.

Near identical to the final except for the designs for Sellbot and Bossbot tabs are swapped.
