So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Unused Abilities

Several spells were cut from the final game, but some of the scripts and graphics for those spells survived. Power Word, Ward, and Mindshatter are fully scripted and can be used if added to the game.

CBUPowerWord.png

   Power Word
Creates a glowing rune in the air that damages all enemies in sight, but rapidly drains mana. This is the same spell that groups of Verago cast against you.

CBUWard.png

   Ward
Creates vegetal booby traps, like Bethany's. Your own traps can hurt you.

CBUMindshatter.png

   Mindshatter
Disorients enemies. This is the same spell that the Abbot and Sil Lith Inhabitants use against you.

CBUPhase.png

   Phase
Reduces your visibility.

CBUIncantationOfSilence.png

   Incantation of Silence
Reduces the noise you make.

CBUShalasVortex.png

   Shala's Vortex
Protects against magical attacks.

CBUFireFly.png

   Firefly
Tags enemies in a large radius with short-lived particles that glow in the dark (and at higher amplitudes, act as homing beacons for offensive spells). According to designer Dellekamp Siefert, this ability would have been useful for exposing campers in the scrapped multiplayer mode.
