About spin-off and Related games
Is it okay to include the games that shares the engines with existing Zelda games, like:
- For Whom the Frog Bell tolls: Game Boy, Link Awakening engine. Set in the same universe also.
- Marvelous: Super Famicom, reused Zelda III engine and its gameplay very similar, except with three party members. It's Eiji Aonuma first game also. Has two BS-X sequels. The fan-translator confirmed it contains debug text.
There is Link Crossbow Training, is it considered a spin-off despite being an on-rail shooter? It has leftover unused Twilight Princess music (like the night music).. Montas1992 08:46, 1 December 2012 (EST)
- Even if they share the engine, they're still not part of the series. Reusing engines seems to happen a lot, anyway. (Metroid Fusion/Wario Land 4, Super Mario Galaxy/DK Jungle Beat)
- As far as Link's Crossbow Training, why wouldn't it belong? It features the same characters in the same setting, just with a different gameplay style. And yes, I'd say it's a spin-off, just like Metroid Prime Pinball. --Peardian 10:39, 1 December 2012 (EST)
