Burai Fighter is a side-scrolling shooter which allows you to shoot in eight directions, released in 1990 with gratuitous Japanese on the box and title screen. The horror!

Despite the very limited CHR ROM space, the developers still managed to sneak the company's logo in. The way it's stored suggests it was meant to appear on-screen somehow, but no code to display it has been found.

The Taxan logo present on the intro screen in the US version was removed from all other versions, as each one had a different publisher.

For the password system, the European version removes the vowels but adds some consonants.
