Oh dear, I do believe I have the vapors. This page contains content that is not safe for work or other locations with the potential for personal embarrassment. Such as: Nudity, blood and lots of swearing. It's the Nerd after all. What did you really expect? |
He's the angriest gamer you've ever heard, he's the Angry Nintendo Nerd, he's the Angry Atari Sega Nerd, he's the Angry Video Game Nerd!

Unused Graphics
Alternate Skins
The game was originally going to have unlockable skins for the four main characters. This feature would ultimately end up being cut due to time constraints. Early revisions of the game contain an unused "skins" folder which holds two unused skins.
Board James
The Nerd was set to receive a costume based on one of James Rolfe's other characters, Board James. He appears to have a complete set of sprites, although the climbing sprite has biege pants.
Guitar Guy
The skeleton skin used by Guitar Guy was originally planned to be an alternate skin for the character, with his default skin more closely resembling Kyle Justin. However, Justin's likeness was removed from the game late into development, and as such his default sprites were overwritten with that of the skeleton skin. This leaves an unused duplicate of the skeleton skin in the "skins" folder.
Hidden Graphics
Several in-game functions have unique graphics associated with them that never get to be seen by the player.
A crudely drawn clock. This graphic is linked to the in-game timer, which is hidden during gameplay.
Graphics of an NES controller. These graphics are linked to the game's control interpreter.
Graphics of Shit Pickle holing a camera in a similar manner to a certain turtle. These graphics are linked to the camera object.
Beta/Demo Leftovers
Xbox 360 button prompts that can be seen in earlier builds of the game.
Various leftovers from the game's beta, including title screen text and references to some debug features.
16-Bit Beat It & Eat It
To do: Preferably repost the video here if YouTube ends up taking it down for some reason. Oh, and give instructions on how to restore these graphics and stuff. |
Originally, the "Beat It & Eat It" level had graphics that matched the rest of the game, but were removed because, according to Stuttering Craig (of ScrewAttack Games), "It just looked dirty." The original level graphics can still be seen using a hex editor among other tools. This includes an updated version of the level's boss, Custer, but he is missing his hitbox and remains stationary.
