Credits Select

When you enter the options menu, press Up, Down, C, Down, B, B, B, Up, C (just one of many possible combinations - see the Notes page for more details). Now press Start to return to the main menu. Next, enter the Sound Test. Press Start to exit. Enter the options menu again and a new entry is added to change the amount of credits.

Wii Virtual Console Version

The "+" on the First Aid Kit that appears in the first-person shooting segments has been changed to an "H". This change also applies to the 2010 Steam and 2022 international Nintendo Switch Online versions of the game, but not the 2009 Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version included in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection / Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, nor the 2022 Japanese Nintendo Switch Online version.
