So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.

Hmmm...
To do:
There appears to be more unused dialogue. The sources should be verified, though.

Alan Wake 2 is the sequel to the first one. Spooky shadow people scare me!

Prerelease Info

Unused Audio

Hmmm...
To do:
Can someone who can actually run the game and pull these audio files (the ones with actual data) and actually put them here instead of describing them and add any other unused dialogue you can find?

test_idles

Test lines from Sam Lake. Only one of them, 20210126_samlak_ml_pangrams_happy_take0002_range04_regression.wem, seems to have any actual data.

x_prototypes

Audio files likely pertaining to the proof-of-concept.

dark_place_vs_cinematic

Early audio of the scene in which Wake kills Casey.

hmc_test

A folder containing two pairs of audio of Ilkka Villi and Matthew Poretta going back-and-forth performing dialogue as Alan Wake in an apparent attempt to synch-up. Also includes a line from Ilkka performing as Tom Zane to complete the dialogue.

The dialogue appears in the "AWE" DLC for Control, though it's not currently known if any of the audio here is the exact same as the audio in the DLC.

Unused Textures

whiteboxing

A couple textures containing labelled palettes taken from this freeware, the second one being a greyscale version.

whiteboxing_temp

Placeholder textures for various locations.
