So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

The NES Snow Bros. is a port of the arcade original.

Debug Leftovers

The Object Test can be accessed by setting the main routine index ($0353) to value $02. Using the D-Pad buttons on both controllers, you can change the object, its animation phase, or CHR ROM banks. Press A to show the object onscreen. Some value combinations may crash the program due to lack of limit checking.

The main cheat menu sits at CPU address $A41E (US) or $A413 (Japan) in bank 6. There is no display, but input is working. On Controller 1, use the D-Pad to change sound test/level select index, press A to play music/sounds, press B to stop it. Press Start to exit to the Object Test mode (press Start one more time to play from the selected level), hold A on controller 2 and press Start on controller 1 in the Object Test mode to enter the Time Mode menu.

Pressing Select should update and load the demo record table (enters the Object Mode first, then exit it to play a demo of the selected level), but in the final version it will crash the game. Game Genie code GEUXGKSO will fix this. Demo index is selected with Up/Down on Controller 2.

Regional Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
There's a bit more than this, including various graphical changes.

Time Mode

All regional versions have a special "Time Mode" game. In the Japanese version, you can select which mode to play just by pressing Select on the title screen.

The US and European versions require a much more complex button sequence to enable it: Up (×2), Right (×8), Down (×2), Left (×8), then press A or Start.

The European version also fixed the "NOMAL" typo.

Staff Roll

The Japanese version's staff roll is completely in Japanese hiragana, save for the "SPECIAL THANKS", "DIRECTOR", and "PRESENTED BY TOA PLAN" titles.
