A poorly-made minigame collection game adaptation that has little to do with the actual anime series outside of its characters, made on a extremely tight schedule by a (then) horribly rushed and inexperienced game company. It shows.

Unused Graphics

You know it's bad when even Bandai doesn't wanna touch your game...
Stored with the title screen graphics are unused tiles for Bandai's logo, likely as Bandai was originally going to be the game's publisher. Despite this, Yutaka published the game, having joined the "Bandai Group" over a year before this game's development.

Below is a mockup of the title screen if this logo was used:

Welcome to an alternate timeline where the game would actually be good if you saw this logo!

Bandai would eventually publish the second Game Boy game, which was produced by a different developer.

Uncompiled Source Code

A small and somewhat-corrupted fragment of uncompiled source code is present in the first 256 bytes of the ROM.
