Sonic Adventure: Limited Edition is a rare pre-release of the game which was available in Hollywood Video stores for a limited time during July 1999. It was dumped in August 31, 2012 by prototype releaser drx
Changes from the final version

- Saving and Internet features were disabled, for obvious reasons. When you try and select the "Internet" option in the Main Menu, you get shown a small demo video. At the end, you get shown a "Coming soon on 9/9/99" screen, and then you are kicked back to the Main Menu.
- The intro FMV is slightly changed with scenes in different places and different effects.
- All of the rings you collect in the Action Stages will stay with you in the Adventure Fields and Boss battles until you get hit in a boss battle or enter another Action Stage.
