A hatching egg which uses the more rudimentary design (slimmer and spotless) which can be observed in the Space World '97 demo and, ironically enough, the final menu sprite for the Pokémon eggs. The Space World '99 demo actually still uses this early sprite, showing that it stayed around for a good while. However, there it used a gray palette, instead of the tan one seen here.
