Unused Graphics
assets\gif\433ee880bd7192400ee3c59489d572da.gif was a GIF of a woman dressed as Vocaloid Meiko dancing and accidentally hitting a chibi model of Vocaloid Rin. This was originally posted by Twitter user Arak2, which itself is based on this video. Given the random subject matter and gibberish filename (usually evidence that a video or gif has been downloaded directly off of Twitter using an external program), this was most likely something a developer quickly grabbed off their Twitter timeline to test out GIF files and forgot to delete afterwards. It was eventually removed in version 1.0.2.
Meanwhile, a few significantly less strange GIFs were also present, featuring Pikachu’s animations ripped straight from the Generation VII games. These were all removed in version 1.0.3.
Unseen Pokémon Titles
omega_nx alpha_nx
In the text files for Pokédex entries exist two additional Pokémon titles, listed alongside the other games in the series. All Pokédex entries within the files associated with these are identical to the ones in the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Pokédexes, with the exception that all alternate formes have been removed. Given that NX is the Nintendo Switch's codename, this may suggest either that a Switch version of the titles was once planned, or (more likely) that Switch versions of the games were created for the sake of internal testing.
Unused Pokémon Forms
Jynx and Celesteela each have an unused second form with their own unique cries. It is not currently known what these additional forms are for, but it suggests that another form for these Pokémon may have been in the works at some point. The effects used to distort Jynx's cry sound quite similar to the ones used in Mega Evolutions, and the filename (pv124_m01) also matches the naming scheme for Mega Evolution cries (for instance, Mewtwo's are pv150_m01 and pv150_m02), so it could belong to a scrapped one for Jynx.
