So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Unused Characters

Colossus and Moon Knight, two characters exclusive to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii versions, are present in the PlayStation 2, PSP, and Xbox versions. They can be played through this glitch:

  • Select a "vs." Comic Mission (Crimson Dynamo's is the earliest that can be obtained without cheats) and remove all characters from the team by pressing Square.
  • With the team empty, press Triangle to return to the mission menu and choose a vs. mission again. A random team formation will be chosen. An empty slot may have the name Colossus or Moon Knight on it, meaning the character will appear in the mission.
  • If neither of them are present, reset the game (the same characters will be chosen until the game is reset) and repeat as needed.
  • The glitch can also be used when starting a custom team (unlocked after the Omega Base mission), allowing the characters to be used in the story.
  • Besides Colossus and Moon Knight, a character named "defaultman" may also appear. He is a completely blank man with no powers and costumes that can only jump.

The PS2 version also appears to contain data of the 4 PSP-exclusive characters, Hawkeye, Ronin, Captain Marvel, and Black Widow. It is unknown if they are functional in-game.

Hmmm...
To do:
The Ronin stuff.

Unused Costumes

An unfinished version of Wolverine's Ultimate skin is included in the files as 0305.

Unused Sounds

Hmmm...
To do:
rip the files from the game, check for more unused ones - they definitely exist

There's a playlist on YouTube with all voice clip of all characters ripped from the game. There is tons of unused voice lines! Some of them even tell us about more cut content.

For example, these voice clips of Banner and Hulk are unused and most likely were recorded for a scrapped Hulk comic mission.

The same goes for these Hawkeye and Widow clips. Most likely there was some team-up mission for these characters, that could take place in PSP version, since they both are playable there.

You can listen to all the remaining voice clips here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMTjU9DFXkGdBQhxuGoakmn7wlwGzm97v
