In true console-to-mobile fashion, Injustice: Gods Among Us only tangentially resembles the console versions in the fact that it is a fighting game starring numerous DC Comics characters. In reality, it's more of a collectible card game with 3v3 combat.

But hey, you could connect it to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions in order to unlock some special content in them, and this is the version the arcade version of the game is based on, so that's worth something, right?

Unused Characters

Regime Shazam

Files relating to Regime Shazam were discovered as early as 2015, but throughout the entire game's life, he has never been officially added into the game. Regime Shazam has three known special moves, and has the same support cards and gear as regular Shazam:

  • Bolt of Zeus - Shazam summons and hurls the Bolt of Zeus at his opponent.
  • Mighty Charge - Unknown.
  • The Power of SHAZAM! - Shazam's super move. Shazam charges a powerful lightning punch, sending his opponent into the clouds where he inflicts multiple, powerful blows before flinging them back to the ground.

Regime Ares

Similarly, files for Regime Ares exist in the game, but was never added to the game. While a model exists, not much else is known. He has the same support cards, gear, first special, and super move as regular Ares, while his second special and stats are unknown.

Unused Gear

Superman's Headband/Crown of Krypton

A 4-star gear that could be evolved into a 5-star gear known as Crown of Krypton, found in the files ever since update 2.10. When equipped, it would give a chance to steal the opponent's gear after a won multiplayer battle, a chance to instantly KO an opponent after a combo ender, and, when evolved, gives a chance to grant a random booster pack after a won battle. Judging by the effects, it's likely this gear never got released due to balancing issues.

Unused Booster Pack

An unimplemented booster pack meant for the 2017 Black Friday event. It would have cost $19.99 and would have contained 3 random Gold characters or Metal characters, 3 gear cards, 6 upgrade cards, and 100,000 Power Credits.
