Drakengard 3 is the final game of the Drakengard trilogy, and a prequel to the original game (though the latter isn't made clear outside of the novel adaptation). It received a somewhat mixed reception, with praise for the writing and action-RPG gameplay but criticism for its laggy performance on original hardware (caused by the poor optimization of Unreal Engine 3).
